Our Services / Child Therapy
A supportive place for children to be heard
Play is one of the ways children communicate what words cannot always express. Through child-directed play therapy, Kristen supports emotional expression, healthy development, and connection, while helping caregivers understand the needs behind a child's behavior.

The focus
What we can explore together
Play can offer children a developmentally appropriate way to explore difficult feelings and experiences. Caregivers are part of that process, too.
- Expressing feelings and experiences through play
- Understanding behavior and nervous system responses
- Strengthening regulation and caregiver connection
What to expect
Care built around your needs
Kristen follows a child's lead in play while creating a supportive environment for expression, connection, and growth. Rather than focusing on behavior alone, she looks at what a child's experiences and responses may be communicating.
Caregiver collaboration is an important part of this work. Kristen offers education about the developing brain and nervous system, helping parents make sense of behavior and practice approaches that support emotional regulation at home.
A space to connect
Progress happens one conversation at a time
Play, creativity, and a trusting relationship can help children explore what feels hard to put into words. We work alongside caregivers to support that growth beyond the therapy room.
